Activities are called "tests," and contain both content and questions. Titles include: Coping with the complications of tattooing and body piercing; Sexual dysfunction: a couples issue; Update on managing HIV in pregnancy; Office assessment of urinary incontinence; Using and abusing oxytocin; Update on preventing surgical site infections; Obstetric anesthesia: Update 2004; Recognizing depression in gynecologic patients; What's the best approach to hyperprolactinemia? Identifying perinatal depression; Managing pregnant patients with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia; and Contraception choices for 2004.

Comments :"I tried out the Contemporary OB/GYN site and I liked it.  It was simple, to the point, and efficient.  I read the article which was well written, had a little snip-it about the authors, and had a disclosure statement.  The site was easy to use and contained a wide variety of topics to choose from.  Thumbs up. (Christina Fergus PG-1)"

Primary Care Course on ENT Diseases ENT

Author: Kevin Kavanaugh, MD

Comments :"I found this website helpful for ENT photos" (Doug Lindberg PGY-3)

Family Practice.com

Author: Various Sponsored by American Board of Family Medicine

Hours: 0.25 hours per 10 questions answered; other topics variable

Brief Description: A number of excellent CME opportunities including board questions with explanations, case-based diagnostic skills, a module on pain and a module on heart sounds

Comments: "It wasn’t as easy to use, and I didn’t really have a lot of options re: topic choice.  Additionally, it wasn’t as convenient to use.  While the video idea was nice, I lost interest.  I didn’t like that I had to go at someone else’s pace.  I didn’t have two hours to site and watch a video, nor did I want to site and watch a “micro” video (I couldn’t get the video to enlarge, so it was 2” X 2”) for 2 hours.  Initial impression: Thumbs down." (Christina Fergus PGY-1)

"Pretty good. Lots of interesting things to do on site other than CME stuff. CME was ok, just lots of questions to answer along with some explanations. It seemed like a lot of the CME stuff was out of date, but topics looked interesting. Easy to navigate site." (Dawn Owens PGY-1)
