Application Process- Printable

Application Process:

The Waukesha Family Practice residency program participates in the National Residency Matching Program in seeking to fill its first year positions.

The goal of the application process is to attract and match candidates whose interests and strengths are compatible with the program's education design. This process recognizes both the needs of the prospective resident and the program. This process is facilitated by the practiceÌs recruitment committee composed of faculty and residents.

Our interview season starts on Monday, October 20, 2008 and will finish on Friday, January 31, 2009. We interview on Monday, Thursday, and Friday.

Our Application Deadline: January 24, 2009.

Those candidates invited to interview are also invited to attend a casual dinner the evening prior to their interview day. This offers an opportunity to meet the residents of our program in a more relaxed setting.

Submission Requirements:

  • Applications (Accepted only through the AAMC Electronic Residency Application Service)
  • Personal Statement
  • Medical School Transcript
  • Medical School Dean's letter
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • USMLE Scores – Step I and II (when available)
